Type: Full time, start as soon as possible

About us

Hale Farm is a licensed Australian medicinal cannabis grower. We farm organically and care a lot about doing things properly, from the soil up to the final batch record. We're a small, close team, and we're building our quality and compliance systems as we grow.

About the role

You'll be the link between our production team and our compliance team. Most of your day will be turning paper records into accurate digital data and keeping our documents, tracking and inventory in good order. If you like getting details right and seeing a tidy system come together, you'll enjoy this.

What you'll do

  • Enter batch records into our systems (including Elevated Signals) and check paperwork for errors and gaps
  • Keep SOPs (standard operating procedures), forms and templates up to date, with proper version control
  • Track and file supplier Certificates of Analysis, and check them against batch records before release
  • Digitise and review maintenance, cleaning, calibration and environmental monitoring logs
  • Help investigate deviations and track corrective actions through to closure
  • Help prepare records for audits and regulator inspections
  • Log destruction and waste records
  • Keep COGS (cost of goods sold) and yield trackers, and PPE and consumables stock, up to date

What we're looking for

  • Sharp attention to detail and a steady focus on repetitive work
  • Comfortable working on your own without close supervision
  • Good Word and Excel skills, and happy to learn new systems
  • An understanding of why version control and accurate records matter
  • Keen to learn the industry. Experience in GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), pharmaceutical, food or agricultural settings is a bonus, but we'll train the right person

How to apply

Send your resume and a short cover letter telling us why you'd be a good fit to careers@halefarm.com.au.

Pay: $60,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
