Description

Responsibilities Provide technical support on workshop maintenance and asset management activities, including the design and modification works of train-borne signalling, trackside signalling, rolling stock, Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) and telecommunication electronic equipment to ensure reliable workshop services on electronic equipment / spares to rolling stock, stations and infrastructure electronic systems Support the day-to-day maintenance activities of the team, including fault investigation, failure trend analysis, improvement initiation and rectifying of equipment defects, while meeting the set service targets and providing quality services to customers Lead the investigation teams to carry out immediate on-site investigation in case of major electronic equipment failure. Identify root cause, develop and implement quick fixes Arrange for refurbishment or replacement of aging electronic equipment under asset life assurance or replacement projects Lead the modification works, conduct the design works, fabricate the prototype, plan and schedule the implementation works, prepare the implementation document and material, and identify the necessary resources Provide on-the-job training to the team and assess their competency levels Requirements Higher Diploma / Higher Certificate in Electrical / Electronic / Computer Engineering or a related discipline A minimum of 6 years’ relevant experience, of which 2 years should be at supervisory level Self-motivated with good analytical and interpersonal skills Good computer knowledge and proficiency in written English and Chinese Remarks Candidates with higher qualification but less experience will also be considered Required to perform shift duties on irregular pattern of hours as and when necessary Applications You are invited to apply online via https://careers.mtr.com.hk/careersection/mtr_external/joblist.ftl?lang=en or send in your CV stating the position (with reference number) you are applying for by mail to Human Resource Management Department, MTR Corporation, G.P.O.
