Responsibilities
  • Conduct Next-Generation Sequencing : Perform whole-genome, 16S rRNA amplicon, and long-read sequencing following standard operating procedures.
  • Support Laboratory Operations : Maintain supplies, keep records, and ensure proper storage and disposal of materials in compliance with safety regulations.
  • Provide Technical Expertise : Support molecular diagnostics and pathogen genomics projects, staying current with new methodologies and technologies.
  • Contribute to Administrative Tasks : Assist with the day-to-day running of the Centre for Pathogen Genomics Innovation Hub as required .
