Description
Pay: $32.00 – $38.00 per hour Incentive: 10% Reliability & Uptime Bonus Benefits: Company Van, Professional Tools, 401(k) + Match, Health/Vision/Dental/PTO, Wellness membership. Location: Post Falls / Spokane (6 local sites) + Quarterly Regional Travel The Role We are looking for a Technical Operations Lead to take full responsibility for the mechanical health and facility excellence of our 9 wellness centers. This isn't a "show up and follow a list" job. We are looking for the person who wants to run the show. You will replace the technical oversight currently provided by the business owner, ensuring our high-value spa equipment is flawlessly maintained and our facilities remain in 5-star condition. What You’ll Actually Do Total Equipment Ownership: Execute high-precision maintenance and complex repairs on specialized equipment (Cocoon pods, tanning beds, spray booths). You’ll partially disassemble machines for deep-motor care and electrical testing. Surgical Troubleshooting: You don’t "guess and order" parts. You diagnose to the root cause—testing sensors, boards, and solenoids to identify the true failure point. System Design & Training: You will build the SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) that empower our Spa Managers to handle basic deep-cleans and first-response troubleshooting. Facility Stewardship: You own the "look and feel" of our spas. You’ll handle light plumbing, electrical sensors, and aesthetic repairs (drywall/paint) to an elite standard. Regional Travel: Perform quarterly 2-3 day "blitz" maintenance audits at our outlying market locations. Who You Are (The Thinker + Doer) Mechanical Intuition: You have a natural "How It’s Made" brain. You understand system flow and the second-order consequences of every repair. Meticulous Execution: You are the person who double-checks the straps, the seals, and the screws every single time. "Good enough" is a professional insult to you. Autonomous & Proactive: You don’t wait for a work order. You spot the vibrating motor or the scuffed wall and fix it before it becomes a problem. Tech-Fluent: Fully comfortable managing work orders, parts inventory, and data via smartphone/tablet. Requirements 5+ years of hands-on experience in high-stakes technical maintenance (e.g., Biomedical, Aviation, Industrial, or HVAC). Proven ability to troubleshoot complex electrical/mechanical systems without a manual. Ability to build simple, effective training guides for non-technical staff. Clean driving record for use of the company vehicle.
