This Technical Sales role covers East Dallas Metro and East Texas.   The Opportunity We’re looking for a driven Outside Sales Representative with a strong background in technical and industrial sales to grow and expand our presence in Dallas, TX. This is not a commodity sales role. We need someone who thrives on solving problems, building strong business relationships, and driving results. What You’ll Do · Develop and grow a defined territory by building relationships with decision-makers ranging from maintenance personel to CEOs. · Identify opportunities and present automation solutions that bring measurable value to customers. · Drive sales growth through technical expertise, problem-solving, and persistence. · Stay ahead of industry trends and learn new technologies to effectively position Hartfiel Automation’s solutions. · Work collaboratively with our engineering and support teams to deliver tailored solutions to customer challenges. · Confidently handle objections and negotiations while keeping long-term customer partnerships in mind. What We’re Looking For · Minimum 5+ years of proven industrial/technical sales experience. · Demonstrated success in growing sales territories and exceeding targets. · Strong technical curiosity and a passion for learning new technologies. · Ability to think outside the box to solve customer challenges with innovative solutions. · Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical staff and executive-level decision makers. · Resilient, confident, and not afraid of constructive confrontation when needed to move opportunities forward. · Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently while being a strong team contributor.
