- Customer Engagement & Solution Design Engage customers to understand business requirements, workloads, infrastructure constraints and future growth.
- Design enterprise server and storage solutions: platform selection, storage architecture, sizing, performance
- Ensure server and storage designs integrate correctly with the customer's virtualization, backup/DR and data-centre environment.
- Perform capacity planning, workload sizing, performance analysis, configuration validation and growth planning.
- Conduct site visits and infrastructure assessments, including government and defense facilities.
- Evaluate and compare OEM server and storage platforms to recommend the most suitable and commercially competitive solution.
- Technical Documentation & Proposals Prepare High-Level and Low-Level Designs (HLD/LLD), solution architectures, technical specifications and BOMs for the server and storage scope.
- Prepare server/storage technical responses for RFPs, RFQs, tenders, compliance sheets and customer questionnaires, and own their technical accuracy and tender compliance.
- Validate configurations for compatibility, interoperability, redundancy, scalability and performance.
- Build and validate the BOM so it supports accurate costing and OEM deal registration.
