Job Purpose
The Primary Role of the Technical Presales Engineer it to provide consulting and operational support to the Sales team. The right person works in close partnership with the Business Development Managers and Director to achieve successful presentation of the company’s solutions to the market. He/She proposes and designs the solutions/products and provides product(s) related business, technical or operational pre-sales support worldwide. In addition to this role, he/she is also responsible for Technical User Trainings, as well as Documentation Work within the Organization.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
· Provide pre-sales technical support to colleagues requiring assistance with equipment, hardware or service configurations and functionality. When required liaise directly with customers or prospective customers in relation to the same.

· Perform a technical role in the review and response of RFP/RFI documents.

  • Conduct Technical Demo’s for the offered Products and Services to Customers.
  • Writes technical specifications and make appropriate recommendations.
  • Attend customer meetings in order to deliver technical content and presentations.
  • As and when required perform proof of concept installations for customer.
  • Conduct, review and document site surveys and Customer prerequisites
  • Be an escalation point for project manager’s and installation engineers of previously done projects.
  • Have an advanced understanding of how Technically voice and data communication equipment, hardware and services work
  • Participate in the Technical Handover of project from the Implementation team to the Customers. This will involve the creation of documentation to include all elements of the Project/ Amendments.
  • Establish and maintain effective interpersonal relationships with those contacted during the course of work.
  • Conducting User Training for End Customer as part of User Training and Handover of Projects.
  • Responsible to Create, Amend and Maintain Documentation for all Projects as well as Operational Elements for the Organization.
  • At times it may be necessary to provide the relevant training on the use and functionality of hardware, equipment, and services to customers and other relevant third parties.
  • Complete required training for the post and strive to meet other development objectives.
  • Responsible (if applicable) for maintaining any technical or professional qualifications required for the post.
  • Working as a Technical Support Engineer for Infrastructure Solutions
  • Creating website pages for particular vendors e.g. 3CX, etc.
  • Creating BOQ’s, Cost sheets and Quotations, Sales Order in excel for partners and Customers
  • Provide demo’s, POC’s and Technical Training for Infrastructure Solutions e.g.: , 3CX etc.
  • Infrastructure Solutions integration with third-party phones
  • Carry out quality assurance tests to discover errors and optimize usability
  • Perform any other / or additional duties as per the needs of the business.

Qualification and Experience
Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Science in IT or Equivalent with 4 to 5 Years of Hands-on Experience in Field in the Area of IT, Networking & Telecommunication. Effective communication & presentation skills. UAE driving License Mandatory
