From a bold idea to revolutionising dog food, Years has grown into a fast-scaling business dedicated to helping dogs live longer, healthier lives.
In just 3 years, we’ve built a great start up business, serving thousands of happy customers, all while striving to achieve our mission.
Our goal? To give dog owners a better, fresher, and healthier way to feed their pets. We provide human cut, personalised meals designed to support each dog’s unique needs, delivered straight to their door - no preservatives, no compromises, just real nutrition.
You can find our customers across the UK, with future ambitions to scale internationally and continue transforming how people care for their dogs.

YOUR MISSION

We’re looking for a Technical Process & Compliance Manager to build and lead a dual-standard regulatory framework — ensuring our food meets the highest compliance standards for both humans and pets. You’ll be the cornerstone of safety, technical quality, and regulatory excellence as we scale.
You’ll report to the R&D Director and work closely with teams across Production, QA, Engineering, and Operations, taking full ownership of our compliance systems, food safety processes, and supplier documentation. This is a unique opportunity to shape how a high-growth food business operates from the inside out.
With increasing ambitions for retail and export, your work will enable us to expand with confidence — ensuring we’re always audit-ready, safety-first, and producing food that’s good enough for dogs and humans alike. You’ll split your time between strategic planning and on-the-ground implementation, making this a dynamic, high-impact role for someone who thrives on end-to-end ownership.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain full compliance with FSA, Defra, APHA, and EC pet food legislation
  • Lead site-wide implementation of HACCP, VACCP, TACCP, and allergen management systems
  • Develop and maintain all SOPs, QMS, and food safety documentation
  • Create and lead food hygiene, cleaning, and traceability systems
  • Manage site-level Health & Safety systems, risk assessments and continuous improvements
  • Own supplier approval processes, including raw material specs and technical documentation
  • Act as the primary contact for all audits, inspections, and regulatory visits
  • Support cross-functional teams with training, floor readiness and safety culture embedding
  • Champion a zero-compromise food safety mindset across the business
