The Technical Procurement Manager will lead the procurement operations ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of technical materials and services necessary for project execution. This position requires close collaboration with project teams to understand technical requirements and to deliver procurement solutions that align with project schedules and budgets. Key Responsibilities: Plan, coordinate, and manage procurement activities for technical materials and services in line with project timelines and budget constraints. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, ensuring quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Negotiate terms and contracts with vendors to secure favorable conditions. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define technical specifications and procurement requirements. Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards throughout the procurement process. Monitor supplier performance and maintain positive relationships for continuous improvement and risk mitigation. Manage procurement documentation, including tender documents, purchase orders, and contracts. Oversee the procurement team, providing leadership and guidance to achieve departmental goals. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 7-10 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the construction or development sector. Strong knowledge of technical procurement processes, vendor management, and contract negotiation. Proven experience managing procurement for large-scale projects. Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
