Description
Agile Delivery & Backlog Management Translate product strategy and feature concepts (provided by Product Managers) into detailed technical requirements and well-scoped user stories. Own and prioritize the squad backlog, ensuring alignment with product and business goals. Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, and reviews Work closely with Product Managers to align roadmap priorities and ensure technical feasibility. Partner with Engineering Leads to estimate complexity, remove roadblocks, and clarify requirements during development. Collaborate with QA, UX/UI, DevOps, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality, user-centric deliverables. Communicate squad-level progress, risks, and tradeoffs clearly to Product Managers and leadership. Technical Focus: Understand architectural implications of features and act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders. Contribute to conversations about system design, integration, APIs, data modeling, and scalability. Proactively identify and manage technical debt and dependencies across squads. 4+ years in a Technical Product Manager, Product Owner, or similar hybrid role within a SaaS environment. Strong technical acumen and experience working directly with software engineering teams. Deep understanding of Agile frameworks and product delivery best practices. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences. Skilled at managing competing priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. Background in software engineering or systems architecture is a strong plus. Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Postman, Figma or Trello. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS), APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and microservices architecture. Certifications such as CSPO, SAFe PO/PM, or Pragmatic Institute are a plus.
