SUMMARY

We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to lead key strategic and technical initiatives across our enterprise mobile platforms and tools. You’ll be responsible for the feature advancement and long-term supportability, maintainability, and scalability of our iOS apps and infrastructure.
You will partner closely with engineering, design, and leadership to maximize the value delivered to users and ensure our technical direction aligns with the product vision and broader business strategy. As a trusted product leader, you’ll also provide coverage and continuity when needed, ensuring consistent momentum across initiatives.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of product and technology—someone fluent in requirement gathering and backlog management, as well as mobile technologies and cloud infrastructure, and who collaborates effectively across disciplines.
The Product Manager will be responsible for maximizing return on investment (ROI) by identifying product features, translating these into a prioritized list, deciding which should be at the top of the list for the next Sprint, and continually re-prioritizing and refining the list.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree from 4-year university or equivalent experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with all levels of stakeholders across the organization and across technical and non-technical disciplines. Ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Leads without being asked and collaborates across functions to move initiatives forward
  • Ability to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate across multiple areas to achieve a common business objective
  • Understanding of the importance of strategic thinking beyond a specific project
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to manage and influence people who are not direct reports
Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with the development of the product vision and roadmap based on the League’s business objectives, market opportunities, and user needs
  • Provide designers and engineers with clear, concise user stories/product requirements that reflect current business and user needs
  • Assess value and prioritize stories and epics to ensure work maximizes value and is aligned with product strategy
  • Create and maintain an appropriately prioritized backlog of user stories for implementation to ensure ready work is always available to all team members
  • Participate in—and often lead—technical discussions, grooming, and sprint planning
  • Lead technical product management efforts across platforms, focusing on app lifecycle, stability, and scalability
  • Own delivery of features from ideation to execution, balancing technical feasibility with business and user impact
  • Drive technical initiatives, including proofs of concept and tooling evaluations
  • Understand and interpret analytics: Identify KPIs and analyze user behavior to inform product decisions; monitor app health and performance metrics and make recommendations accordingly
