We are looking for a hands-on Senior Product Manager to drive buyer growth for Mercari’s Global App. You will own growth problems end-to-end — defining the opportunity, setting clear metrics, building AI-enabled MVPs, and running disciplined experiments to deliver measurable business impact. This role requires strong product judgment, structured thinking, comfort with ambiguity, and a deep focus on data, measurement, and iteration. Why Mercari? Must-Have Requirements 5+ years of product management experience in consumer products 7-10 years of total experience including engineering, business development, growth, & marketing Proven ownership of growth funnels with measurable metric impact Strong experimentation experience (hypothesis design, A/B testing, analysis) End-to-end PM experience (problem definition → launch → iteration → impact) Strong data orientation and structured thinking Demonstrated judgment in prioritization and trade-offs Comfortable operating in ambiguity with execution speed AI literacy: ability to use AI for discovery, MVP creation, experimentation, and iteration Preferred Requirements Experience in marketplace, e-commerce, food delivery, ride-sharing, gaming, or similar consumer internet platforms Experience working on global or multi-market products Experience across both growth-stage startups and scaled consumer environments Understanding of marketplace dynamics (buyer–seller ecosystems) What Success Looks Like Within the first 6–9 months, you: Identify a clear growth constraint Ship meaningful experiments early Move at least one core growth metric Establish a repeatable experimentation cadence Employment Status: Full-time Office Location : Bangalore Hybrid workstyle We believe in high performance and professionalism.
