Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Technical Product Manager to lead the development and enhancement of our internal, web-based company applications. This role will bridge the gap between business needs and technical delivery—working closely with our software development team while ensuring that the solutions we build are impactful, robust, and user-friendly.
You’ll be a key player in our modernisation programme, with the opportunity to shape the tools that power our business. In our small but dynamic team, your contributions will have immediate and visible impact. This role will work across our apparel, footwear and home goods UK group businesses and is a hybrid role, with a minimum of 4 days at Burgess Hill (preferred) or Skelmersdale head offices.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Engage with stakeholders across the business to translate needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and priorities.
  • Partner with software engineers to ensure technical feasibility, efficient delivery, and high-quality solutions.
  • Apply high-level knowledge of databases, coding, and web development to inform decisions and communicate effectively with developers.
  • Organise and oversee product testing, ensuring thorough quality assurance before release.
  • Deliver internal and customer training to drive adoption and effective use of our applications.
  • Facilitate creation and upkeep of clear, accurate product documentation.
  • Provide regular status updates and delivery timelines to the wider business.
  • Support investigation of complex issues, identify root causes, and define robust solutions.
