Reporting to the Technical Product Specialist Supervisor, this Technical Product Specialist role will be the Subject Matter Expert in Caterpillar MineStar technology products specifically related to the underground mining sector with a focus on Caterpillar’s MineStar “Command for Underground” system and provide technical support and solutions to WesTrac stakeholders and customers.
This role supporting the MineStar for underground product range is expected to have extensive knowledge of both onboard and office aspects of the underground MineStar products. Potential candidates with the right skillset and experience in underground mining and technology platforms like Command are preferred, but training will be provided to the right candidate with similar or related experience. The successful individual will be flexible, highly professional, and focused on working in partnership with all teams in the technology division, as well as actively contributing to the development of technical documentation, product training, advanced analysis and resolution of technology related issues.
Location: Perth Precinct (Perth Airport, WA)
Roster: Monday – Friday, 8.5-hour days
