JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Technical Professional in BSS, you will be responsible for daily logistics and coordination of our operations on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. This includes monitoring the development and follow-up of activities and contracts within drilling waste management and solids control and typical work tasks will be:

• Liaise with customers and projects
• Responsible for planning, coordination and executing operations and projects where Halliburton’s HSE processes and procedures are expected to be followed daily, and where all activities are risk-assessed
• Daily follow-up of personnel, equipment and, where applicable, suppliers on the respective projects and operations
• Daily follow-up with customers, participation in customer meetings and internal status meetings
• Establish good customer relations both externally and internally with the goal of exploiting opportunities and synergies
• Perform tasks related to HSE, quality assurance and development

QUALIFICATIONS

We seek you that have experience with project coordination or experience with drilling waste management operations offshore. A technical degree at bachelor/master level within petroleum, mechanics or offshore technology is advantageous, however experience from similar roles can compensate for lack of education. For the role you should have adequate knowledge of SAP and generally good computer skills. Good communication skills, both verbally and written, in English and Norwegian, is a prerequisite. The position requires that you always follow the company’s HSE procedures.
