As Technical Program Manager, Data Insights & Governance, you will play a crucial role in managing and delivering high-impact projects. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the development and implementation of data governance frameworks, coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and compliance, and driving insights to support business decisions.

REQUIRED/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 2+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ year(s) experience with data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, data warehousing, and data modeling.
  • 2+ year(s) experience with data lineage, security, compliance, and best practices to maintain data integrity.
  • 1+ year(s) experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • 1+ year(s) experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).

ADDITIONAL OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • 1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
  • Familiarity with Azure (Fabric, Synapse, Data Factory), AWS or Google Cloud.
    Technical Program Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $98,300 - $193,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $127,200 - $208,800 per year.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with Data Engineering, Software Engineering, and Business Planning teams to design technical solutions, identify risks, and propose data-based mitigations.
  • Develop and implement governance requirements for analytics programs and projects. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation for compliance and program governance.
  • Streamline data collection and reporting across all Microsoft digital storefronts (Microsoft.com, Xbox, Store on Windows) to support better decisions while ensuring privacy and compliance in tools such as Adobe Analytics, Adobe Customer Journey Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and Microsoft Fabric (PBI)
  • Define project success criteria and forecast and measure return on investment.
  • Plan feature roadmaps, track project schedules, develop staging and implementation, and understand and manage governance programs.
