    Responsibilities

    OUR PURPOSE

At Xero, we’re here to help you supercharge your business. We do this by automating routine tasks, surfacing actionable insights and connecting businesses with the right data, advisors and apps. When that happens, we’re not only making life better for small business, we’ll be building a stronger economy that can change the world.

    WHAT YOU’LL DO:

      • Drive End-to-End Program Delivery: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of our AI-driven financial insights platform, from conception to launch and iteration. This includes defining program scope, objectives, key results, and managing timelines and resources across multiple teams and geographies.

      • Strategic Cross-Functional Alignment: Foster strong collaboration and alignment among diverse stakeholders, including engineering teams, data scientists, product managers, designers, legal, compliance, and senior leadership across different divisions (Product, AI/Data, Security, Legal).
      • Proactive Risk & Dependency Management: Identify, assess, and manage critical risks, issues, and inter-team dependencies, developing mitigation strategies and timely resolution to keep the program on track.
      • Communicate with Impact: Communicate to all levels of the organization, providing clear, concise, and timely updates from engineering teams to executive leadership. Translate complex technical concepts into understandable business implications.
      • Technical Acumen & Problem Solving: With a strong understanding of AI/ML technologies, data pipelines, model architectures, and integration points, you’ll help identify technical challenges, facilitate technical discussions, and ensure robust and scalable solutions.
      • Influence & Navigate Ambiguity: Leading without authority, influencing teams and stakeholders to achieve common goals, even in ambiguous or rapidly evolving environments.
      • Champion Ethical AI & Compliance: Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure the platform adheres to data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and Xero’s ethical AI principles throughout the development lifecycle.
