PROGRAM MANAGEMENT

We’re seeking an experienced and visionary Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join our Horizon OS System Platforms team, where you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Metaverse. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • B.S. in Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Technical Program Management, or Hardware Engineering experience
  • Experience leading technology investments across multiple products or product families from innovation to delivery
  • Demonstrated experience leading execution across highly ambiguous, complex products and programs, with experience making technical and product trade offs while balancing business needs and technical constraints
  • Knowledge of user needs, gathering requirements, and defining scope
  • Experience operating autonomously across multiple teams, demonstrated critical thinking, and thought leadership
  • Experience in leading complex execution across multiple teams in different time zones, anticipating roadblocks and creating a path forward
  • Analytical and problem-solving experience with large-scale systems
  • Communicator who can translate high-level goals into tangible action plans, and vice-versa and expertise communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Good technical expertise in operating systems, software development, and/or related fields.

Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional programs: Drive complex, high-impact programs that span multiple teams, functions, and geographies
  • Influence technical strategy: Collaborate with executive stakeholders to shape the technical direction of our OS platform and ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Understand technology requirements, roadmap, dependencies, evolution, and develop a plan for mitigating risks and delivering features that meet the requirements across multiple products
  • Develop and execute process improvements: Identify opportunities for improvement and implement new processes, tools, and methodologies that increase efficiency, quality, and scalability
  • Lead the development and execution of complex programs, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and budget adherence
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including engineering teams, product managers, and external partners
  • Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies that could impact program success
  • Mentor and develop other TPMs: Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to help TPMs grow and develop their skills
