Description

Leads portions of the planning and execution of multiple complex technical projects or programs in support of the continuing evolution of the organization's software products. Develops software roadmaps based on product and technical requirements and business needs. Partners with cross-functional software development teams to help them prioritize, plan, track and execute complex, cross organizational programs. Performs program analysis, manages risk, identifies and influences necessary course corrections. Continuously assesses and improves the processes that comprise the software development lifecycle. Manages risks and resolves issues that affect release, scope, schedule, and quality of highly visible, complex programs. Provides technical leadership and guidance to ensure that solutions meet quality and performance standards. Communicates project status, progress, and challenges through regular reporting and presentations to leadership. Encourages innovation within project teams and facilitate the exploration of new technologies and solutions. Ensures that all stakeholders are aligned towards a common goal by meeting and receiving feedback on an ongoing basis. Impacts function and leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Complexity Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.
