MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience with data analytics, reporting, and scripting using SQL.
  • Experience with data networking architectures and physical network components.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience with high-availability cloud-based ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise software.
  • Knowledge of fiber optic systems, network infrastructure, and carrier networks.
  • Ability to influence cross-functionally at various levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities
  • Develop governing policies on data quality and education partner teams to ensure that Google’s global network infrastructure data is accurate, complete and accessible.
  • Work with other teams to extend Google’s existing network infrastructure data tools/applications, methods, standards and processes in support of business efficiency and automation programs.
  • Manage operational and tactical data projects and programs. These include assisting other teams with data management and translation, working with contractors on data entry management, developing ETL procedures and workflows.
  • Work with Technical/Product/Project leadership aligning product and cross-organizational projects priorities/schedules.
  • Use data managed by the larger team to conduct geo analysis using tools like ArcGIS.
