Description
Establishes requirements, costs, and schedule targets; plans activities, assembles the team and other critical resources; and manages the new product program through the product life cycle as defined by LAM's Product Development & Release (PDR) process. Develops, defines and executes program plans. Is responsible for meeting the program objectives including performance, cost, schedule, budget targets and supply chain deliverables. Assesses program risks and drives mitigation activities as part of the program plan. Monitors work of program from initiation through release providing support and direction. Escalates issues until resolved or mitigated. Prepares and presents program executive reviews and PDR risk management reviews. Develop cost reduction roadmaps to meet product cost targets. Work with Lam's Global Supply Chain to develop sourcing strategies and sourcing plans to meet cost and lead time targets. Transition the new product from Pilot Manufacturing to High Volume Manufacturing. Develop and implement suppliers ramp readiness assessments, critical parts management plans, lead time reduction plans and risk mitigation plans. Identifies capable suppliers for new technical requirements/ manufacturing processes/ materials. Drives early supplier/ mfg. process qualification in collaboration with Supply Chain. Identifies/ documents Supply Chain Risk gaps & drives mitigations. Executes on cross product cost reduction opportunities. Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline. Eight (8) years of experience in a similar role in the semiconductor industry. Six (6) years of continuous improvement and technical program / project management experience within the Semiconductor industry. Basic knowledge of manufacturing methods and supply chain commodities related to cost structure. Supply chain knowledge for critical commodities as related to sourcing decisions and cost strategies. Knowledge of Program Management methods and experience in Product Development & Release (PDR) procedures. Relevant project management certifications such as PMP, CAPM, Scrum Master, or PRINCE2. Experience guiding cross-functional teams and demonstrating leadership and influence skills to deliver results. Excellent communication and executive presentation skills with the ability to present to audiences at all levels in the Company.
