MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in program management.
  • 8 years of experience in the networking, data center, or telecommunications industry.
  • 7 years of experience in leadership roles with/without direct reports.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in growing talent, including supporting individual career development and position succession planning on all levels in the team.
  • Experience motivating teams and individuals to change as the business environment changes.
  • Ability to lead and inspire geographically dispersed teams, build relationships, and influence stakeholders.
  • Excellent planning skills and the ability to translate business objectives into initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Lead delivery projects including network design, material planning, equipment installation, and turn up of equipment.
  • Develop and execute a direction for the North America East Intra Metro team, aligning with overall company goals and objectives.
  • Identify and implement solutions to improve the project delivery. Advocate a culture of risk mitigation and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across various internal organizations, establish performance metrics and provide regular feedback to drive individual and team performance.
  • Identify, mentor, and develop program managers and engineers, preparing them for future roles within the organization or with peer organizations in Google.
