Our team is our competitive advantage and we are better together YOUR MISSION We are seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) with a strong software development background and a passion for building mission-critical systems to support SaaS development execution activities. You will serve as the owner of program execution—driving clarity, alignment, predictability, and accountability across engineering, product, operations, security, and government stakeholders. In this role, you will ensure the successful delivery of complex, secure, and regulated software products by building structure where needed, managing risk proactively, and leading programs through ambiguity. You will operate at the intersection of technical execution and program leadership, maintaining authority over delivery plans, escalation paths, and cross-functional dependencies. RESPONSIBILITIES Develop dashboards and data visualizations to understand development timelines, efficiency and pace using PowerBI. Support the end-to-end planning and work tracking of Mosaic, our software product, for defense and government customers. Work directly with the product team, supporting their efforts. Support program execution: define delivery plans, manage scope and milestones, and drive accountability across engineering and cross-functional teams. Serve as the primary delivery interface with internal teams and external stakeholders, including defense primes, government PMs, and contracting authorities. Track program performance using execution metrics (velocity, predictability, defect trends, release readiness) and drive continuous improvement. Thrive in a high-ambiguity, fast-paced environment, creating structure, clarity, and alignment where needed. QUALIFICATIONS Experience with PowerBI or other Business Intelligence tools Experience with Jira, Confluence, or other software tracking tools 0-2 years of experience in software engineering, Business Intelligence or related technical leadership roles. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum/Kanban processes and software lifecycle management. Exceptional communication skills across technical and non-technical partners, including government stakeholders. U.S. Citizen and eligible for DoD Secret or TS/SCI clearance PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Background in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field Proven track record leading execution of complex SaaS or mission-critical systems; experience with defense, aerospace, or dual-use technology strongly preferred. Technical understanding of distributed systems, cloud architectures, APIs, and secure software development practices COMPENSATION Base Salary: Denver: $65,000 - $90,000 | Long Beach: $70,000 - $95,000 Equity + Benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, HRA/HSA options, PTO and paid holidays, 401K, Parental Leave Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, location, and experience. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Work Location—Successful candidates will be located near Long Beach or Denver. This role requires four days a week onsite with one day remote.
