This pivotal role combines strategic programme management with hands-on delivery leadership, driving the successful execution of our ambitious digital transformation roadmap while building high-performing, collaborative teams. Working across designated business domains and in close partnership with Product Managers, Analysts, Architecture, Engineering and Business colleagues, you will be responsible for ensuring delivery of defined business capabilities, supporting iterative progress, and continually driving improvement of delivery practices within the team. What You'll Be Doing Strategic Programme Leadership Develop high-level business cases for product initiatives to secure capital funding and appropriate resource allocation in collaboration with Product and Technology leadership teams Support Portfolio Manager(s) in pipeline resource availability and delivering quarterly alignment across all domains and their roadmaps Track and report technology cost and complexity metrics; compile and disseminate technology consolidation and sunsetting roadmaps Oversee delivery of technology optimisation initiatives through integrated domain-centric roadmaps End-to-End Delivery Ownership & Operations Management Lead and manage end-to-end product development within defined business domain areas (such as Submission & Validation, Content Lifecycle Management, IDAM & User Management, or Discoverability) Orchestrate delivery of value while understanding feasibility constraints and managing operational health of delivered solutions Oversee product support, incident management, and ensure ongoing performance of delivered capabilities Define delivery roadmaps, milestones, success criteria, and execution plans aligned to user needs and organizational goals Team Leadership & Collaborative Facilitation Build and support highly effective, collaborative team environments, acting as coach to nurture team maturity and delivery capability Line manage and coach project managers; matrix manage project leads and delivery teams Facilitate discussions, workshops, and problem-solving sessions to unblock teams and align progress Work closely with Product Managers, SMEs, Business Analysts, Tech Leads, Designers, QA, and Infrastructure teams to ensure shared purpose and successful delivery Stakeholder Engagement & Communication Serve as one of the primary interface for key stakeholders across business, technology, product, and design functions Support communication and expectation management to ensure alignment and transparency Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage senior stakeholder relationships effectively Process Excellence & Continuous Improvement Lead Inceptions for sizeable initiatives and ensure updated artifacts are available Ensure Epics & Stories are effectively articulated and managed Champion iterative delivery, continuous improvement, and best practices in agile, lean, or hybrid methodologies Proactively monitor progress of initiatives, epics, and stories, resolving issues and initiating corrective action Foster culture of feedback and experimentation to optimize team ways-of-working Quality & Value Assurance Manage scope, schedule, and budget allocations while proactively identifying and resolving risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies (RAIDs) – both within and across domains Ensure adherence to best practices in project management and appropriate methodologies Collaborate with product, design, business analysis, and engineering teams to deliver agreed milestones and business value targets Contribute to the growing maturity of our world-class PMO team Qualifications What We're Looking For: Specific qualification in project management or project methodology Critical: Demonstrated experience working in dynamic agile environments within software development Proven track record of delivering multiple initiatives, large projects, or programmes successfully Experience in effective change management using appropriate tools and techniques Leadership & Collaboration Excellent leadership and motivational skills with ability to form strong, collaborative teams Outstanding influencing skills and stakeholder management capabilities Experience working with senior stakeholders and coordinating cross-functional teams Skilled in facilitating discussions and problem-solving sessions Technical & Analytical Capabilities Techniques for eliciting and analysing feedback Commercial awareness and customer focus Collaborative approach to analysis and identifying solutions Positive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution Ability to overcome obstacles and support others to clear blocks to progress Domain Expertise Understanding of end-to-end delivery ownership within business domain areas Experience in managing delivery activities with focus on feasibility and value orchestration Knowledge of quality standards and value assurance practices Capability to identify, manage, and communicate risks and dependencies across stakeholders What Success Looks Like Strategic Impact: Successful delivery of business capabilities with tangible impact for users and the business Team Excellence: Strong alignment and communication across teams and stakeholders, with improved delivery practices and team maturity Operational Excellence: Realisation of defined outcomes within scope, schedule, and budget constraints Organizational Growth: Clear establishment of delivery accountability in our domain/capability model Additional Information Location: We believe that great things happen when people connect face-to-face. That's why we work in-person with each other, or with customers and partners, three days a week or more. When you’re not spending time together in one of our offices or other workplaces you get the flexibility and support to work from home or remotely. The successful candidate will be able to utilise our balanced working model. We ask that candidates live within a commutable distance of our office in Bengaluru, to ensure that as a balanced worker they can make it to our office locations to collaborate as required. There is an expectation for a minimum of 3 days per week in-person time.
