We are now looking for a
Technical Project Coordinator
Prysmian Group invests strongly in expanding submarine cable manufacturing at the Pikkala factory in Kirkkonummi. The investment will include the construction of the tallest building in Finland, among other deliverables, and the project is expected to the concluded in 2026. The role’s key purpose is to support the investment project by coordinating the preparation, installation and deployment of new production equipment. You will be our contact person for contractors and installation personnel as you will be the bridge between the project team and the factory.
We will offer you a challenging role where you will become familiar with numerous factory functions, such as machinery, procurement, logistics, and safety. You will get a full view of our production site and develop expertise in state-of-the-art submarine cables. Our driven and compact project team is looking forward to welcoming you aboard! You will report to our Sr Maintenance & Investments Manager. The role is a permanent position.
You will be responsible for the following
- Coordinating machinery and production equipment installations – from planning to commissioning
- Being the contact person for contractors and installation professionals
- Gathering technical requirements from the factory personnel and communicating their needs to the project team – being the bridge between the project and the production
- Supporting improvements and execution of machine safety together with HSE and supporting daily HSE management
- All in all, performing tasks efficiently and optimistically – putting full energy and effort into managing and guiding internal and external teams
We are looking for a candidate, who has
- A technical background – either work experience or relevant studies
- A curious mind and a strong desire to learn new things
- High level of organizational skills and a structured working style – you keep your ducks in a row even in hectic situations
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Strong fluency in oral and verbal English language
- Finnish language skills are a strong advantage
