We are looking for a Technical Project Engineer to join our expert team. In this role, you will provide technical project engineering to designers, customers and sales, and help develop new business opportunities in collaboration with our clients. Position can be located at any of the SSAB locations in Sweden or Finland.

About the position
Your working areas and products will be all pile products in Sweden, piles and pile walls in Europe, pile walls globally. Work includes travelling to designers, customers, fairs and site visits. Swedish language skills are important, but you don’t need to be native speaker.
Main responsibilities
Provide technical project engineering to designers, customers, stakeholders, and SSAB sales
Identify and develop new business opportunities through innovative applications of SSAB products
Respond to technical inquiries and communicate feasible technical solutions
Support the development of technical competencies within the organization
Collaborate on technical marketing with relevant departments
About You
Master’s or bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent (e.g., foundation, structural, or bridge engineering)
Preferably 5 years of experience in design, contracting, or product development in a related technical field
Proficiency in common design and calculation methods/software related to pile products
Experience with CAD software
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Team-oriented mindset, project management skills, and ability to work in an international environment
Experience with FE software is considered an advantage
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Willingness to travel for customer visits, site support, or internal collaboration
Experience in steel structures or geotechnical engineering is a plus
Fluent Swedish
Good spoken and written English
Finnish is a strong asset
