We’re looking for a Technical Project Lead to join our team in Helsinki or Bengaluru, and manage end-to-end delivery of complex customization projects for our partners. This role sits at the center of our technical delivery function. You’ll coordinate multiple teams and vendors, manage technical governance, and ensure projects ship on time and meet quality standards. The work involves everything from initial scoping through implementation, with plenty of technical challenges and stakeholder management along the way.
We need someone who can handle the full lifecycle, working with architects on solution design, keeping dev teams aligned, managing external contractors, and dealing with the inevitable fires that come up in large-scale implementations. You’ll also help standardize our delivery processes and find ways to automate repetitive work. The right person has deep experience delivering enterprise software projects, knows how to navigate complex multi-vendor environments, and can translate between technical teams and business stakeholders. If you’ve successfully delivered large customization projects and want to help build better delivery frameworks, this could be a good fit.
You can choose to work at our office in Helsinki or in Bengaluru. We work in a hybrid model: you can work from home most of the time, but we’d love to see you in the office now and then too (e.g. 1-2 days a week or bi-weekly). Technical Delivery
Lead complex customization projects from initiation through implementation
Coordinate multiple internal teams and external vendors to meet delivery commitments and SLAs
Adapt project plans as requirements evolve and provide escalation support for critical issues
Governance & Quality
Establish technical governance frameworks and quality standards across all projects
Work with Solution Architects, Dev Teams, Test Leads, and Program Managers to align deliverables
Monitor project health, manage risks, and ensure documentation completeness
Process Improvement
Build standardized delivery approaches using automation and reusable components
Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation in delivery processes
Measure and report on productivity improvements and efficiency gains
Stakeholder Management
Serve as primary technical contact for partner engagements
Communicate project status and manage expectations across internal and external stakeholders
Facilitate technical workshops and present recommendations to leadership
What are we looking for?
Extensive (e.g 10+ years) in Technical Leadership roles (Technical Lead, Technical Project Manager, Solution Architect, or Senior Product Engineer), with proven success delivering large-scale software implementations on time and within budget
Extensive experience executing end-to-end technical projects in complex, multi-vendor environments with demonstrated knowledge of SDLC and implementation methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
Strong technical expertise in integration patterns, APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms; experience with telecom or enterprise software implementations preferred
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority, managing multiple external vendors while collaborating with Solution Architects, Dev Teams, and Program Managers
Deep understanding of quality assurance, compliance requirements, and technical governance with a track record of ensuring deliverables meet industry standards
Strong problem-solving skills with experience in crisis management and ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements in ambiguous situations
Excellent communication skills and full professional proficiency in English, with ability to translate complex technical information for diverse stakeholders, influence senior leadership, and manage difficult conversations
