Job Description Summary GE Vernova Grid Solutions Grid Systems Integration business is moving towards a digitally integrated way of working, centralized around data, technology, and structured project execution that connects a variety of systems, stakeholders, and deliverables. The role combines 50% Information Management and 50% Technical Project Management, ensuring that data, systems, and project execution are aligned across the HVDC EPCI project and data delivery is ready for Operation & Maintenance (O&M) phase. Data and information in these sets need to be accessible and shared between organizations, project management and engineering management tools used within the business organization and its customers and suppliers. This sharing will help to ensure consistency, correctness, and completeness of work products developed across all HVDC system life cycle stages and support standardization and interoperability. The Information Manager acts as a Project Information Manager in Technical Project Management, ensuring that the GE Vernova HVDC project organization delivers the right information, at the right time, with the right quality. This includes planning, coordinating, and executing information management activities across the project, ensuring first-time-right delivery and readiness at customer handover. Job Description Key Responsibilities Create, communicate and update the Project Information Management Plan (PIP) in line with GE Vernova strategy and customer requirements Plan, coordinate and manage information management activities across the project lifecycle, including identifying risk dependencies and constraints and raising emergent deviations with HVDC Engineering and Quality Team Operate and manage the Common Data Environment (CDE) and interface with customer CDEs Coordinate with Engineering and PM functions to plan the creation and execution of the Reference Designation Plan (RDP), BIM Execution Plan (BEP), Master Document Register (MDR), Object Type Library (OTL), OTL Implementation Plan and ensuring compliance with relevant international standards Act as Single Point of Contact (SPoC) for customers regarding information management systems Coordinate supplier information management requirements together with Engineering, Procurement and Quality Track and manage payment milestones linked to information management deliverables Organize system trainings and ensure accurate project reporting and metrics Your Profile Degree in IT, Engineering, Industrial Engineering (German degree: Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen) or comparable experience Experience in technical project coordination, delivery or project management Proficient in Information Systems, CAD design/engineering, BIM software, Document management Good understanding of: Product Lifecycle Management (PTC Windchill or equivalent), DMS (Document Management System), Building Information Management (Autodesk BIM360 or equivalent), Cross platform connectors (e.g. Autodesk to PTC). Understanding of good practices instituted by ISO, IEC, VGB or similar. Strong communication skills in English; German would be desired A structured, analytical mindset with the ability to make decisions and resolve conflicts quickly when required.
