Description
Your mission Sportec Solutions Inc. is seeking a U.S. based Data Technical Project Manager to own technical delivery and integrations for our Americas data customers. You will be the primary technical liaison between clients and internal teams (Product, Engineering, Operations), shape customer-facing technical solutions that scale across our soccer and sports-data ecosystem. Primary Plays (key duties) Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (preferred) Technical delivery: Manage end-to-end technical delivery for data-related products and technical integrations of all stakeholders (incl. API integration and Technical Change Requests) Matchday readiness & incident response: Own feed validation (Postman/Swagger), runbooks; initiate new technical features and Change Requests. Coordinate bug triage with Product Owners until resolution Stakeholder management: Transla te technical architecture to technical and non-technical clients; act as the technical interface across Product, Ops, IT, and Sales. Change & scope control: Lead change-request intake, assess technical impact, and support commercial offer creation for data services Reporting & continuous improvement: Track budget and technical KPIs (incidents, resolution times, data quality), produce internal delivery reports, and propose automation or tooling to reduce recurring issues. First-Quarter Playbook (90–120 days) Document and validate integration flows for assigned clients and establish a repeatable feed-check routine Set baseline technical KPIs and a reporting cadence with Product Owners and client stakeholders Victory KPIs (performance metrics) Reduction in matchday incidents and mean time to resolution Accuracy and availability of customer data feeds On-time/on-budget delivery of technical projects and positive client feedback on technical communication and responsiveness Your profile Baseline Credentials (must-haves) Experience: 3+ years in technical project management or technical delivery for software/data projects; prior exposure to live-event or sports-data environments preferred Technical skills: Hands-on with API testing tools (Postman/Swagger); practical understanding of XML/JSON feeds, authentication (e.g., Auth0), Websockets, HTTP get/post patterns, and cloud-hosted data flows Tools: Comfortable in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), and project tools such as JIRA/Confluence/Asana Soft skills: Clear communicator; calm under pressure during live events; strong problem-solving and multitasking across concurrent deliveries Availability: Willingness to work evenings/weekends and domestic/international travel for matchday support as needed Local to Dallas-Fort Worth or willing to relocate Ability to legally work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship Wildcard Win If You Have The ability to write/run diagnostic scripts and SQL queries against APIs and data stores Domain experience with soccer data or other live-sports data systems A background or familiarity with camera-based tracking or broadcast data operations (examples from leading sports-tech roles show value in hands-on, operational technical leadership) Why us?
