Position Summary Beep is seeking a seasoned Technical Project Manager (TPM) with deep experience leading complex, cross-functional technology deployments—preferably in autonomous systems, mobility, automotive, or safety-critical environments. This role is responsible for managing projects from concept through deployment, ensuring technical readiness, successful integration, customer satisfaction, and compliance with regulatory and safety standards. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, innovative environments and can translate between engineering, product, operations, partners/vendors, and customer teams. Key Responsibilities Project Leadership & Delivery Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of autonomous vehicle integration projects, including hardware, software, safety, and infrastructure components. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, scope, change control, and risk mitigation strategies. Ensure on-time delivery of technical milestones and successful go-live of AV deployments. Facilitate cross-functional alignment between Product, Engineering, Operations, Safety, and external partners. Technical Integration Work closely with engineering teams to identify and troubleshoot technical issues, managing resolution paths across multiple disciplines. Support testing, validation, acceptance, and commissioning processes for new deployments. Stakeholder & Customer Engagement Serve as the primary point of contact for external partners, cities, transit authorities, campuses, and operational stakeholders. Lead technical discussions and translate complex engineering concepts into customer-friendly language. Facilitate project reporting, documentation, and executive-level communications. Risk, Compliance & Safety Ensure project compliance with safety protocols, regulatory requirements, cybersecurity frameworks, and industry standards. Drive issue resolution, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives related to deployment quality and reliability. Requirements Required 7–10+ years of technical project or program management experience in one or more of the following preferred domains: Autonomous vehicles Automotive/ADAS Connected vehicle technology Hardware–software integration Mobility or transportation systems Proven track record delivering complex technology or infrastructure projects with cross-functional engineering contexts. Strong understanding of systems engineering, networking, hardware integration, and/or software lifecycle processes. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence, negotiate, and deliver in high-stakes environments. Expertise with project management frameworks: Agile, Waterfall, hybrid models. Ability to travel to customer sites, test facilities, and deployment locations as needed. Preferred Experience working with safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262, FMEA, cybersecurity frameworks). Background in transportation, smart city technologies, or mobility-as-a-service (MaaS). PMP, CSM, or similar certification. Experience managing vendor relationships and technical partners. Success Factors Strong technical curiosity and ability to learn AV technologies quickly. Ability to balance structured project management with the realities of a rapidly evolving industry.
