Job Overview:
This role of Technical Program Manager (TPM) will be working with NIWC team to lead a contract in support of the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) and other DoD agencies. The Technical Project Manager works directly with government sponsors, external clients, and high-performing project teams managing multiple projects simultaneously. The position leads clients to a successful outcome through process, resource management and financial tracking. The TPM will oversee cyber security and application development projects; working with customers and teams to understand and document user requirements, propose technical solutions and design, drive workflows and communication engagements, and prepare project estimates. The TPM will be the main point of contact for both internal and external teams. The TPM will also be involved with contracting, procurement, risk management, strategic planning, resource tracking, and collaborating with technical team members for successful execution and delivery environment(s).
