As a Technical Project Manager sitting within the Infrastructure and Service Delivery Team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end planning, execution, and finalisation of complex technical projects focusing on core IT infrastructure, network architecture, hospitality & retail technology deployments. Serving as an integral member of the program team, you will translate business requirements into technical deliverables, managing project budgets, contract negotiations, and multi-site retail footprint integrations while ensuring alignment with Endeavour's project management methodologies.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:
- End-to-End Project Delivery: Lead the full lifecycle of complex technical projects, including infrastructure upgrades, network refreshes, EUC & Server Life Cycle Management projects and more
- Business Partnership: Partner with senior business managers to deliver overarching technology infrastructure needs, including initiatives stemming from the Endeavour Woolworths demerger.
- Contract & Vendor Management: Oversee all project-related vendor relationships, including drafting, negotiating, and managing contracts with external service providers and Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to secure cost-effective outcomes.
- Technical Translation: Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, leveraging broad knowledge in network topologies, data centre operations, cloud infrastructure, and security best practices to guide teams.
- Financial Oversight: Manage, track, and control project budgets, ensuring accurate expenditure forecasting and resource planning across large-scale technical deployments.
- Quality & Governance: Proactively manage project risks, status reporting, and executive summaries while ensuring all products meet strict quality acceptance criteria.
QualificationsNow let’s talk about you:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- Project Experience: 5+ years of technical project management experience delivering large-scale IT projects within complex, multi-brand organisations (experience with consecutive projects >$5M is highly regarded).
- Core Technical Knowledge: Demonstrable experience with core IT infrastructure and networks, including WAN/LAN, Wi-Fi, Telco services, virtualisation, cloud services (e.g., Azure, GCP), and data centre technologies.
- Retail Domain Expertise: Significant background in the retail sector, with familiarity managing technologies that impact store operations, POS systems, mobile/handheld devices, supply chain, or CCTV.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong expertise in contract negotiation, MSP management, and overall budget/P&L control.
- Leadership & Communication: Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to articulate both technical and business concepts clearly, lead through ambiguity, and drive customer-centric outcomes.
- Certifications & Tools: PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certifications are highly desirable, alongside familiarity with Google Suite, ServiceNow, and Planview.
