Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Engineer to provide technical leadership in the planning, design, deployment, and commissioning of EV charging infrastructure. The role will involve working closely with customers, internal teams, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of EV chargers, vehicles, charge management systems, and power distribution infrastructure.
This role is ideal for an engineer with experience in electrical distribution, control systems, and SCADA-based monitoring, who thrives in problem-solving and stakeholder management. The EV charging domain is evolving rapidly, and fleets are struggling with interoperability challenges your expertise will be crucial in simplifying this transition for customers.

MUST-HAVE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Multi-disciplinary troubleshooting experience across electrical, networking, and software domains.
  • Proven experience in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects in the energy sector (renewables, power generation, transmission/distribution, or control systems), including design and commissioning experience.
  • University degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Control Systems, Telecommunications, or similar).
  • Strong ability to build client relationships, provide exceptional customer service, and act as a trusted advisor.
  • Hands-on experience with SCADA systems, energy management platforms, or monitoring & troubleshooting software.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to adjust to evolving project scopes, customer needs, and emerging technologies. Ability to accommodate occasional after-hours support.

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Stakeholder coordination experience with OEMs, installers, utilities, and internal teams.
  • Background in commercial and contract management for infrastructure projects.
  • Ability to identify upsell opportunities based on customer needs and usage patterns.
  • Familiarity with local and regional electrical regulations affecting EV infrastructure.
