SUMMARY:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Technical Project Manager to lead the development and execution of digital components for various types of events. This role is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end build of event registration websites, email communications, and mobile applications, ensuring each digital element aligns with client goals and timelines. The Technical Project Manager will serve as the central point of coordination across internal teams and external stakeholders, driving project delivery through expert timeline management, clear communication, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Success in this role means delivering high-quality digital experiences on time, within scope and budget, while fostering client satisfaction and long-term retention.

Education & Experience:

  • University Degree or equivalent experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • 3–4+ years managing web and mobile app development cycle
  • 3–4+ years meetings and events experience
  • 3+ years project management experience, with demonstrated expertise in managing complex project timelines and deliverables
  • CVENT and/or other event technology platform knowledge required
  • Strong understanding, experience, and knowledge of Virtual and Hybrid projects with platform capabilities and project plannin

Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes:

  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in web programming tools/applications, mobile app development, and website development using CMS platforms.
  • Project Management Expertise: Proven ability to manage project timelines effectively, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met within scope and budget, leveraging PMP methodologies.
  • Client-Facing Skills: Exceptional client management and communication skills, with experience leading client interactions, building trust, and delivering tailored solutions to meet client expectations.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in the Meetings & Events industry managing event technology platforms.
  • Customer Service: Strong commitment to customer service with high consultative skills and the ability to anticipate client needs.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills, particularly in client-facing scenarios.
  • Organizational Skills: Demonstrates the ability to organize and prioritize workload effectively, with a focus on maintaining project schedules.
  • Collaboration: Strong collaboration skills with peers and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
