Title: Technical Project Manager Note: This position is contingent upon Government approval. Job Description We are seeking a team member with Technical Project Manager experience to support a research project portfolio at DARPA in Arlington, VA. As a Technical Project Manager you will serve as the main interface between a performing company and DARPA. The ideal candidate is an experienced Technical Project Manager with background in Technology, Science or Mathematics. 100% onsite with flexible work schedule through occasional remote telework and/or alternative work schedule. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) Prior experience working in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics field At least 3 years of experience managing the execution of technical projects/programs Experience coordinating and organizing multiple projects and teams in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills; oral and written Ability to learn new subjects and gain rapid insights into current and next-generation research topics Desired capabilities and characteristics: Experience with technical project management Experience working a program through its full life cycles Demonstrated ability to learn new subjects and gain rapid insights into current and next generation research topics. Experience supporting DoD or government-sponsored research activities Demonstrated attention to detail Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Flexible and readily adaptable to change Familiarity with the DARPA technical, programmatic, and contractual environment is a plus.
