PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Owens Corning’s Global Information Services (GIS) provides a technology platform that supports the company’s growing global business needs. In this organization, the Technical Project Manager role is an exciting project and technical leadership role accountable for the project delivery and continuous improvement within the Global Infrastructure and Operations (GIO) domain. This domain covers solutions and technologies associated with IT Infrastructure used by the global workforce of Owens Corning (OC).
Working closely with GIS platform owners and key suppliers, this role provides project leadership and governance for both GIO and business projects. These projects and life cycle management programs will focus on the platforms, services, and hardware required by our global users to enable high performing teams, drive business growth, and bring a positive experience. Additionally, this role utilizes key suppliers for daily project management, which enables broader delivery of strategic objectives.
Reports to: GIO Leader – IT Infrastructure Integration and Project Leader
Span of Control: Individual contributor; management/partnership of 3rd party vendors and suppliers
