We have an opportunity for a Junior Technical Projects Manager to join our plant based in Knottingley.
The role will be responsible for owning projects throughout the full lifecycle including their day to day management, within the Decoration department. Ensuring that the relevant stakeholders are engaged, providing a collaborative & performance driven environment.

COMPANY DESCRIPTION

Stoelzle Flaconnage is deemed Stoelzle’s centre of excellence concerning development, production and decoration of Premium Spirits Bottles, with the capability to produce glass containers from 5cl up to 4.5l in extra white flint glass or feeder colouration. Due to the utmost flexibility, the site is able to also manufacture small batches for limited editions of luxury brands.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Experience of working within a manufacturing or engineering environment would be an advantage.
  • Formal project management qualification is desirable.
  • An eye for numbers, data management and keeping track of figures and outputs.
  • Knowledge of MS office applications is essential.
  • A flexible approach is required with the ability to multi task and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate and influence internal and external customers/contractors at all levels. This includes minimising resistance to the change.
  • Possess tenacity, drive and a proactive approach to recognise and address challenges early.
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: Up to £38,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Manage designated projects from conception to delivery;
  • Continually identifying, prioritising and mitigating projects risks and issues;
  • Managing project costs and budget including cost-saving measures;
  • Leading project meetings, assigning responsibility & adjustments;
  • Lead on New Product Development (NPD) within the decoration department, liaising with key internal stakeholders & customers;
  • Translation of requirements into a delivery plan;
  • Facilitate the writing of a business case (if required);
  • Establish a communication schedule to update stakeholders including appropriate employees on the progress of the project;
  • Writing reports to senior management to update on the status of projects;
  • Involvement with the New Product Development Team and new product launches within decoration;
  • Deputising for the Decoration Manager when applicable;
