Description

Technical Project Managers are a crucial part of our operations team. In partnership with an Account Manager, you’ll coordinate project delivery for design and development initiatives, ensuring they run smoothly, on time, and within budget. You’ll oversee cross-discipline teams—ranging from strategists, content creators, designers and engineers—while collaborating closely with an Account Manager who focuses on client relationship management, upselling, and long-term strategy.
We’ve refined our team structure to provide strong support while maintaining autonomy. Our well-established processes and dedicated resource management help ensure balanced, diverse workloads.
Location: Fully Remote
Job Type: Full-time (open to part time)
Other commonly used names for this role may include Digital Producer, Project Coordinator, Project Manager or Delivery Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Lead production teams
  • Guide and motivate cross-discipline teams of 5–8 members—digital strategists, content creators, designers, and engineers—by applying agile methodologies.
  • Set clear expectations for deliverables, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment within the team for success.
  • Support engineers and designers by unblocking technical issues or bottlenecks in coordination with technical leads.
  • Manage Project Scope & Budgets
  • Serve as the day-to-day Project Manager for 6–10 active projects (both client-facing and internal), maintaining comprehensive oversight of project scopes, timelines, and financials.
  • Collaborate with the Account Manager to ensure alignment on client priorities, budget changes, and scope adjustments.
  • Plan & Execute Projects
  • Develop and maintain project plans for fixed-price, retainer, and time-and-materials engagements.
  • Oversee and refine workflows, including backlog management, sprint planning, and iterative scope/expectation management.
  • Identify technical blockers early and work with internal teams to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Facilitate Communication & Reporting
  • Prepare and deliver regular status reports for both clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Lead productive project-related meetings, demos, and risk assessments while supporting the Account Manager on higher-level client communications when needed.
  • Translate technical roadblocks into client-friendly updates and propose next steps.
  • Kick Off Projects Smoothly
  • Establish processes, onboard new project team members, and guide clients through initial project phases.
  • Ensure all stakeholders understand roles, responsibilities, and project expectations from the start.
  • Proactively Mitigate Risks
  • Identify, track, and escalate issues or changes in scope that may affect project delivery.
  • Work with other managers and the Account Manager to resolve concerns and maintain client and team satisfaction.
  • Step in to troubleshoot or facilitate solutions to technical issues that delay progress.
  • Maintain Quality & Standards
  • Uphold rigorous QA processes to ensure superior quality deliverables.
  • Engage discipline leads for peer reviews and final checks, maintaining high standards for each project phase.
  • Support Discovery & Strategy
  • Lead or contribute to discovery phases that define project requirements and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Account Manager to confirm strategic alignment with client goals and identify future opportunities.
  • Coordinate with Account Manager
  • Work closely with the Account Manager to ensure ongoing client satisfaction.
  • Align on project changes, opportunities for expansion, and best practices for fostering a healthy, long-term relationship.
