HOW YOU WILL MAKE CONTRIBUTIONS THAT MATTER

We are seeking a dynamic Technical & Project Manager to lead the commercialisation of new product development (NPD) and existing products through their lifecycle from concept to commercialisation. This role involves managing a portfolio of projects and NPD activities for SDA, SDC, and supporting the commercialisation of projects from other Saputo divisions.
The Technical & Project Manager will oversee projects as a Project Manager, guiding them through the entire product lifecycle, and act as a Program Manager for projects they do not directly lead.
This role requires close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to manage cross-functional teams and deliver projects on time, while providing technical advice and support to customers and the Saputo sales team. Additionally, the role includes managing product specifications, technical, regulatory, and quality-related activities with internal stakeholders, customers, and government bodies.

QUALIFICATIONS,SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

  • Tertiary qualification in science/engineering or related field in dairy or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Ideally of 5 years of Dairy and/or Nutritionals experience.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Sound understanding of dairy science and manufacturing principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite & Stage Gate.
  • Ability to work as part of a team or autonomously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to deal with different cultures where English is not the first language.
  • Must be driven and able to set and manage own workload to meet division KPIs.
  • Valid driver’s licence.
