YOUR PROFILE

• Extensive experience in testing and managing of metering projects, with the ability to coordinate multiple projects.
• Strong technical aptitude in general
• Clear and professional communication skills at all levels.
• Experience in an (electro)technical environment is a plus.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
• Flexibility, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative team spirit;
• Strong interest in smart grids and ability to digest the technical challenges encountered at various levels of data aggregation.

YOUR ROLE

A great opportunity for a metering professional to start and build our metering department from scratch! We hope to meet an experienced project manager who will apply his/her knowledge of standards and test operations to the purchase of test equipment and obtaining the required global set of accreditation(s). You will lead and build your team hands on as we grow the business. Your skills will be embedded in the services of your DEKRA colleagues from other teams such as EV charging, electric safety testing, electronics, sales and cyber security we provide our customers with a one stop shopping experience. DEKRA serve an international customer base with whom you will connect f2f and online.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Preparing technical quotations and test plans, managing budgets, documenting results, and reporting progress;
• Coordinating the work of our test engineers and ensure that all necessary tests are conducted correctly
• Interpreting and applying standards and regulations to ensure compliance with safety requirements;
• Analyzing test results and delivering accurate, reliable reports;
• Communicating proactively with clients: sharing technical insights and project updates while building strong relationships and mutual trust.
  Your main responsibilities will be on AC and DC smart energy metering to global standards such as IEC 62052 and IEC 62053, ANSI C12, OIML, etc. Your experience will be key to obtain accreditations and to build this business for DEKRA to serve the needs of an all-electric society.
