Citi is looking for a dynamic and experienced Technical Project Manager (PM) to join our engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to manage and oversee the Agile Release Train (ART), ensuring smooth execution and delivery of high-impact engineering projects. The role involves working with cross-functional teams, managing dependencies, and mitigating risks in a fast-paced environment.

    Pay: $160,000.00 - $240,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Agile Release Train Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of the Agile Release Train (ART), ensuring effective planning, backlog refinement, sprint execution, and release coordination to ensure timely delivery of features and product enhancements.
  • Cross-Team Coordination: Facilitate communication and alignment between engineering, product, and UX teams to ensure consistent progress and delivery across the product lifecycle.
  • Dependency & Risk Management: Proactively identify potential roadblocks or risks that may hinder project timelines and work to resolve them efficiently. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to minimize delays and manage critical dependencies.
  • Stakeholder Reporting: Provide regular updates and transparency on project progress, risks, dependencies, and delivery timelines to stakeholders and leadership teams. Effectively communicate key metrics and achievements.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously analyze and improve agile workflows and release processes to optimize team performance and efficiency, ensuring best practices are followed.
  • Tools Proficiency: Utilize agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, and other project management tools to manage tasks, sprints, and releases effectively. Ensure accurate tracking and documentation of project progress.
  • Required Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager (PM) in an agile environment, ideally with a focus on managing agile release trains and large-scale engineering projects.
  • Strong expertise in agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe frameworks.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, and other agile planning software.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills with a strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and UX teams to ensure alignment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate risks and proactively address challenges.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to present progress updates, manage expectations, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
