JOB DESCRIPTION

Supernova is seeking an experienced Project Manager with expertise in cloud infrastructure, such as AWS, to join our innovative team. This pivotal role centers on advancing projects, managing timelines, and overseeing the various development stages to ensure successful project execution within our SaaS platform environment. The successful candidate will have a solid background in cloud technology operations and project management methodologies, facilitating efficient and effective project delivery.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4+ years of project management experience in a technology or SaaS company.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing projects in a cloud environment, AWS familiarity is a plus.
  • Comprehensive understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Outstanding organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects with varied timelines.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to work under tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the full lifecycle of projects from initiation through to closure, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project plans and schedules, coordinating with cross-functional teams to track progress against milestones.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths, making adjustments to project plans as necessary to achieve objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including product management, engineering, sales, and customer support, to ensure alignment with business goals and customer requirements.
  • Provide regular updates on project status, challenges, and achievements to stakeholders, offering solutions and plans to address any risks identified.
  • Champion a culture of accountability and continuous improvement by leading project retrospectives and incorporating learnings into future projects.
  • Engage with clients and partners to accurately capture project requirements, ensuring their needs are met through careful planning and execution.
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of cloud infrastructure, especially AWS, to effectively communicate project needs and requirements with technical teams.
  • Encourage a team environment that promotes collaboration, open communication, and problem-solving.
