KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2-3 years in a software project management role, with a strong focus on internal team coordination and customer-facing delivery.
  • Proficient in Agile methodologies and adept at tools like Jira for project tracking.
  • Outstanding communication skills, able to navigate the complexities of a startup environment.
  • Previous experience working in a technical consulting role or working directly with external stakeholders — comfortable communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working with modern SaaS or Enterprise solution providers is highly desirable.
  • A technical background (ie. Computer Science, Statistics, GIS, Modeling, Simulation, Data Science) is considered a very strong bonus
    The base salary range for this position is: $80,000 - $110,000 CAD, depending on skill and experience seniority and pay scale classification determined by the hiring manager

ABOUT THIS ROLE

UrbanLogiq is on the lookout for a Project Manager who excels in both internal and client-facing realms. You will be a pivotal figure in aligning our development, data, and design teams’ efforts with customer needs. Your role involves not just managing timelines and deliverables but also actively shaping how we define and execute projects.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead internal project management efforts, including Agile practices and Jira/Scrum documentation.
  • Balance the demands of customer-facing software project management while keeping internal processes aligned and efficient.
  • Act as a conduit between technical teams and customer representatives, ensuring clear communication and project continuity.
  • Ensure internal alignment between various teams to enable on-time delivery of features or new solutions to our customers.
