OVERVIEW

As a Technical Project Manager, you’ll oversee a wide variety of projects from conceptual design through implementation. You will have the chance to network with clients, and in-house personnel as well as form a dream team of experts for each project to maximize resources and efficiency.
You will be responsible for the on-time and on-budget running of projects, and will be accountable for this to the Voodoo Park Exec Team.
You will be a strong, clear communicator and have expert knowledge of internal and external stakeholder management and reporting . You will work closely with technical teams and be accountable for the set up of project teams and project delivery by working closely with clients, Delivery Managers and Account Managers.
You will have a very strong technical understanding of software development principles and common architectures, and will be comfortable with tasks such as solution and schema design.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Demonstrably strong technical understanding of software architecture, especially API-based platforms.
Demonstrable experience of requirement elicitation and agile story writing.
Expert understanding of project management methodologies and best practise.
Extensive experience in end-to-end delivery of multiple projects across multiple technical teams and clients.
Project planning and progress monitoring, including budget and milestone control.
Creative problem solver, able to build contingency plans and handle all situations with professionalism.
Be the single point of contact for delivery and act as an advocate between Voodoo Park and the customer .
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Excellent command of English.
Able to work UK office hours.

Be responsible for the on-time and on-budget delivery of projects.
Manage multiple projects with top-down oversight throughout entire execution to ensure end to end delivery as defined by adherence to standards of scope, budget, and timeline.
Work with customers to guide, refine, and understand their specific requirements, and translate these into stories which can be developed by the teams.
Work with domain experts both internally and at our clients, to understand complex technical domains, and design solutions.
Manage agile workflows, backlogs, and sprints.
Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation.
Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
Regular management of Issues, Risks & Dependency logs across multiple projects.
Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, remove impediments and implement efficiency improvements.
Oversee acquisition of resources and materials as needed before and during projects by talking with customers, team members and managers.
Anticipate details of future projects by communicating directly with customers and staying informed of relevant trends and industry news.
