Job Summary: VersaTech is seeking a Technical Project Manager with experience supporting government organizations to deliver technology solutions and to develop and maintain enterprise project plans. The Technical Project Manager will oversee various tasks, including providing supervision for technical and non-technical staff, interfacing with government personnel, and ensuring quality services to clients.
Salary: $150,000 - $160,000 depending on experience. Discretionary annual bonus based on performance.
Location: Hybrid – this position will require occasional travel to client site in Washington, DC
Note: This position is contingent upon the successful award of a contract or funding. Employment will commence only after the award is finalized and confirmed.

QUALIFICATIONS AND KEY COMPETENCIES/BEHAVIORS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, with 5+ years of relevant experience as a project manager supporting Government organizations/contracts.
  • Proficient in developing and maintaining enterprise project plans.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to provide supervision and oversight.
  • Possess PMP certification or equivalent.
  • Experience using Agile methodologies for software development.
  • Ability to maintain high standards of professionalism and uncompromising integrity.
  • Ability to leverage strategic thinking coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to inspire passion and provide superior service.
  • Technical and customer service orientation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of IT technologies.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • HUD experience
  • Understanding of CPIC and Procurement
  • Appian or Business Process Management (BPM) knowledge and experience
  • Certified Scrum Master certification
  • Hands-on experience with Scrum methodologies
  • Active Public Trust or higher clearance
Responsibilities
  • Supervise technical and non-technical staff and liaise with Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), government management, and customer agency representatives.
  • Provide technical and quality services under the guidance of VersaTech’s Sr. Program Manager/Executive.
  • Assure that the quality of end products and services provided to customers meet contractual requirements.
  • Manage team members and oversee contract support operations, planning, and task completion.
  • Perform project management tasks for project planning, status reporting, production monitoring and task management, and deliverables tracking.
  • Maintain an overall Project Plan outlining the approach to accomplish tasks. The plan should include task description, itemized deliverables, schedule, key milestones, resource estimates, and risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Lead regular, recurring project and status meetings.
  • Provide regular weekly status of project progress, milestones, issues, and risks.
