Description

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager (TPM) with hands-on experience delivering mobile and POS software solutions, ideally involving React Native and Android-based hardware like the PAX E700. This role will serve as a key delivery lead—working closely with business stakeholders, product teams, engineers, and offshore counterparts to keep deliverables on track, remove blockers, and ensure effective cross-team coordination.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 8+ years in a Technical Project Management or Delivery Lead role.
  • Experience managing mobile application projects (iOS/Android) , ideally with React Native .
  • Familiarity with POS system implementations , including device testing, peripherals, and rollout support.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum and hybrid delivery models.
  • Experience leading onsite/offshore teams , especially in high-complexity, multi-vendor environments.
  • Skilled in tools like JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet, MS Project, Slack/Teams .
  • Experience with PAX hardware (e.g., E700) or similar Android-based POS terminals.
  • Background in retail, education, or fintech domains.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, QA/UAT cycles , and API integration dependencies
Responsibilities
  • Drive day-to-day project delivery , tracking timelines, risks, dependencies, and action items across multiple workstreams.
  • Serve as the main point of contact onsite for coordinating between Scholastic stakeholders and Photon’s offshore/onshore delivery teams.
  • Manage execution of project phases including MVP, Beta, Scaled Rollout , and ensure alignment with program milestones.
  • Collaborate with Product, UX, and Tech Leads to align release scope and delivery priorities .
  • Proactively identify and resolve risks, blockers, and resource constraints .
  • Lead project status reporting , stakeholder updates, sprint reviews, and steering committee communications.
  • Support testing readiness (UAT, QA cycles), change management, and hypercare planning .
  • Ensure delivery documentation, status logs, and artifacts are consistently maintained and shared.
