Nelcos Distribution is the exclusive distributor of Bodaq Architectural Vinyl Film – a revolutionary surfacing solution used to refinish and renovate walls, doors, elevators, furniture, and more. We work with contractors, installers, architects, and commercial clients to transform interiors and exteriors without demolition. Our projects range from hotel room renovations to elevator cab updates, all using our high-performance, self-adhesive vinyl films.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We’re looking for an experienced Technical Project Specialist with a strong background in construction renovation, particularly in managing trades, working with finishes, and ensuring project execution from planning to completion. This role is ideal for someone who understands how to get projects done on time and on budget, and who thrives in fast-paced environments that involve coordinating with subcontractors and ensuring high-quality workmanship.
Extensive knowledge of renovation processes and past hands-on experience in finishing work is required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 years of experience in construction project management, renovation, or interior/exterior finishes
  • Experience working with contractors, subtrades, and site coordination
  • Familiarity with surface preparation, finishing materials, and renovation workflows
  • Experience estimating materials, managing budgets, and tracking schedules
  • Hands-on experience with vinyl or other finishing materials is a strong asset
  • Ability to read blueprints, floorplans, and architectural drawings
  • Proficient in project management tools, Google Suite, and CRM (HubSpot preferred)
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Willingness to travel locally for site assessments and project supervision

Responsibilities
  • Manage architectural vinyl film renovation projects from concept to completion
  • Oversee and coordinate subcontractors and installers on site
  • Conduct site visits to assess conditions, recommend vinyl applications, and measure for material needs
  • Estimate material, labor, and project costs with accuracy
  • Read and interpret drawings, measurements, and specs to ensure correct installation
  • Match the right installer with each job based on skills, experience, and project requirements
  • Recruit and onboard new installers as we expand our North American network
  • Maintain and manage project budgets, schedules, and timelines
  • Ensure all work meets quality standards and complies with safety and building regulations
  • Communicate with clients, architects, and contractors to align expectations and timelines
  • Provide technical support and guidance on vinyl installation best practices
  • Collaborate with our in-house Training Academy to certify and support installers
