JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II. JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation’s war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today’s missions and tomorrow’s global challenges.
RANGE POSITION DESCRIPTION
Candidate will work with Technical Publications Section to collect draft technical/scientific documentation from engineers, test personnel; convert draft documents to standard test plan and report templates; edit for spelling, clarity of grammar, format, and consistency; participate in report integrated product meetings. Position requires flexibility in work assignment and ability to adapt to change. Position requires ability to work under tight deadlines to produce quality reports. Position requires ability to efficiently perform quality checks of technical documents for peers, customers, and before final publication. Critical tasks include editing classified and unclassified technical reports. Knowledge of 412th Test Wing technical report process and operating instructions a plus. Must be able to answer technical report process questions to guide authors in the development of technical reports. Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite required. Ability to work independently or in a team environment a must.
REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL, AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism or related discipline and at least 3 years of job-related experience or equivalent work experience and training. Excellent written communication skills; working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications; organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required. The incumbent must possess a valid, state issued driver’s license. Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance. Must be a U.S. citizen.
