Your mission Job Goals • Ensure the timely, cost-effective, and quality-compliant procurement of technical components, materials, and services for UAV and aviation systems while meeting operational and regulatory requirements. Key Tasks • Procure technical components, assemblies, materials, and services. • Request, evaluate, and negotiate supplier quotations. • Select, manage, and maintain supplier relationships. • Monitor purchase orders, deliveries, and lead times. • Support make-or-buy decisions. • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams. • Maintain purchasing and supplier data within the ERP system. • Support cost optimization and supply chain risk mitigation activities. Other Tasks • Support Engineering with supplier sourcing and technical procurement activities. • Support Production and Operations by ensuring material availability. • Assist with supplier evaluations and performance reviews. • Support engineering change management and material phase-in/phase-out activities. • Contribute to inventory management and stock optimization initiatives. Competencies & Duties • Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components. • Knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes. • Understanding of quality requirements and documentation practices in regulated industries. • Ability to interpret technical drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and specifications. • Ensure material availability to support production and development schedules. • Manage supplier performance regarding quality, cost, and delivery. • Support continuous improvement of procurement processes. • Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation. • Strong negotiation and communication skills. • Structured and proactive working style. • Analytical problem-solving ability. • Strong organizational and coordination skills. • Reliability and attention to detail. Your profile Qualifications • Technical or commercial education, preferably with a technical background. • Experience in technical purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management. • Experience in the UAV, aerospace, aviation, electronics, or high-tech industry is an advantage. • Proficiency with ERP systems • Good written and spoken in German and English; additional languages are a plus.
