As our new Technical Purchaser, you will be a key part of the procurement team, combining your expertise in sourcing, purchasing and supplier management with a hands-on approach.
You will focus on sourcing related tasks for new product development projects.
In your category Purchaser role, you will manage purchasing volume products and components for specific product categories, ensuring availability in our finished goods warehouse. You will work closely with the Purchasing Manager, while reporting to the Head of Logistics & Procurement.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelors degree in engineering, technical purchasing, logistics, or supply chain

  • 5+ years of experience as a Purchaser, in a Procurement, Sourcing, or Purchasing organization, with a proven track record in tactical and operational processes with a focus on engineering and technical products

    • Experience in purchasing electronic components, such as Integrated Circuits (ICs), FPGA, PCBA and you possess high commercial competence in the electronic components market
      Solid hands-on experience of working with ERP systems (we use NetSuite)


    • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Proficiency in Swedish is a bonus

    BONUS SKILLS

    • Experience in purchasing mechanical components and commercial competence in the mechanical components market
    • Experience working with contract manufacturers (EMS)
    • Experience working with Product Data Management (PDM) systems

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with project management, R&D and supply in product development projects.
    • Source components and negotiate competitive prices to control total product costs.
    • Evaluate quotes and bills of materials (BOMs), select suppliers, and negotiate contracts with project teams and stakeholders.
    • Place and follow-up on orders and deliveries with suppliers to meet project timelines.
    • Collaborate closely with contract manufacturing partners (EMS) to ensure all components and materials are sourced for prototype builds and production ramp up.
    • Procure specific product categories and manage inventory levels to ensure availability in the finished goods warehouse based on customer demand.
    • Develop procurement processes to support Net Insight’s growth and innovation goals.
